The personal data processed by Mumo is protected in the best way possible within the technical possibilities. Mumo stores, processes and shares with third parties the personal data obtained for the purposes specified within the scope of this Privacy Policy. Mumo will not dispose of your personal data for any purpose that is not in accordance with the law and for any purpose other than those specified herein.Mumo reserves the right to make changes and updates in this Privacy Policy without prior consent of users. Your data will be protected with high security measures and in no case will be kept outside the limits permitted by the legal legislation.


1. Under what circumstances and for what purposes is your personal data processed?

Personal data is processed by Mumo based on one or more of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law), and in accordance with the personal data processing principles specified in Article 4 of the KVKK. In all personal data processing activities carried out by Mumo, it is also acted in accordance with the obligations required by all relevant legislation, especially KVKK.


The purposes of processing personal data can be grouped as meeting the requests of Mumo website users, contacting users via e-mail or telephone in accordance with the requests of website users, evaluating complaints, responding to the requests and suggestions of the contacted persons.


Data belonging to the current website users may, in whole or in part, be obtained, saved, stored, retained, modified, reorganized or processed in other ways and shared with third parties by automatic or non-automatic means. 


In addition, in cases explicitly stipulated by law;

(a) If it is necessary to process personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of the contract

(b) Where processing is necessary for Mumo to fulfill its legal obligations; 

(c) In cases where personal data is made public by the person concerned; 

(d) In cases where data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, customer data is processed in a limited manner for such legitimate purposes.


2. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Your Personal Data

Although personal data may vary depending on the products and services provided and commercial activities, in order to carry out the above-mentioned and our commercial activities, it is collected electronically by Mumo through the Contact Forms in the "Newsletter" and "Contact" sections on the website and in the registration process to become a member of the website, based on the legal reasons specified. Personal data can also be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in this text, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned are not harmed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK. Personal data processed within Mumo may be updated and processed as long as the services offered are utilized.


3. To whom and for what purpose your processed personal data can be transferred 

In line with the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data may be transferred to third parties who receive services as data processors for purposes such as contacting people who want to get information about Mumo, contacting users via e-mail or telephone in order to respond to the requests and suggestions of website users, informing about Mumo, evaluating complaints and fulfilling legal obligations within the scope of other relevant legislation. In addition, your personal data may be transferred to our business partners, our suppliers as data processors, legally authorized public institutions and private persons within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK for the purposes of ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and the persons who have a business relationship with our company, and are determining and implementing the commercial and business strategies of our company.


4. Cookies 

Cookies are small text files that are stored on the visitor's device (e.g. computer or phone) when a website is visited and can contain data in name-value format. These text files can be interpreted by browsers and servers and various information can be obtained about the device through which the visit to the website was carried out and therefore about the relevant user. Today, cookies are used on almost every website.

5. Your Legal Rights Regarding Your Processed Personal Data

As personal data subjects, you may submit your requests regarding your rights to us via info@mumowrap.com. Mumo will finalize the request as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the transaction requires an additional cost, we will charge the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. The rights of natural persons whose personal data are processed in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK are as follows:

  • To know whether personal data is processed or not, 

  • Request information whether your personal data has been processed, 
  • To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose, 

  • To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad, 

  • To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, 

  • Although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the KVKK and other relevant laws, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, 

  • To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, 

  •  In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand the compensation of the damage. 

  • If Mumo can respond to the requests within this scope in writing, it responds without charging a fee up to ten pages; above ten pages, it responds by charging a transaction fee of 1 TL for each page. If the response to the application is given in a recording medium such as CD, flash memory, the fee that may be requested by Mumo shall not exceed the cost of the recording medium.
